Microblading

Unlike a regular tattoo, microblading is a form of tattoo artistry where pigment is implanted under your skin with a manual handheld tool instead of a machine.  Hair-like strokes with the tool are drawn in your brows to mimic natural hairs.

It is essential to avoid retinol, blood thinners, fish oils and alcohol one week prior to your treatment.  Overall it feels like little scratches, but it is not unbearable.  A topical numbing cream is used prior treatment and throughout the process to dull the discomfort.

Brows will look slightly darker at first, but the color will fade 30 to 40 percent.  Protecting the freshly bladed brows is essential.  No sweaty workouts or washing your face after your treatment for approximately one week.  Aftercare ointments are provided during our first appointment.   Some patients experience itching and redness during the first week, which Vaseline can alleviate.

Depending on your skin and lifestyle, client’s will generally come back for touch-ups once every six months.
