Prescription Products Cleveland
Full, natural-looking eyelashes can now be achieved through a prescription treatment called Latisse®. Latisse is the first and only eyelash treatment approved by the FDA to help grow longer, fuller and darker eyelashes and treat hypotrichosis, a condition that includes having inadequate or not enough eyelashes.
Latisse contains bimatoprost, an active ingredient that improves the appearance of your lashes and is often found in glaucoma medication. While the precise science of the treatment is not known, research suggests that the number of hairs and duration of the growth process are increased by bimatoprost.
While it does not replace mascara, Latisse offers an attractive complement to help further enhance full, long and beautiful lashes. The results of Latisse are visible after 4 weeks, with full results appearing after 16 weeks. You can track the progress of your results through photographs. Side effects of Latisse are rare but may include itching, redness or dryness in the eye area. You should not use Latisse if you have an active eye infection or broken skin or irritated skin on the eyelid.
VANIQA® is the first and only prescription cream clinically proven to reduce the growth of facial hair in women. Most women see results within 4-8 weeks when used twice a day, every day.
Tri-Luma combines three active ingredients into one great product. It contains a topical anti-inflammatory to help heal the skin, a 4% Hydroquinone to even and lighten the skin, and Retin-A derivative to help clear and protect the skin.
Glytone Skin Bleaching Clarifying Gel Hydroquinone 4%
Hydroquinone for oily, acne prone skin.
The Parker Skin & Aesthetic Clinic carries different strengths of Retin-A prescription products. Tretinoin is a form of vitamin A that treats acne and skin that has been damaged by exposure to the sun. It essentially irritates the skin and causes the cells to grow and die more rapidly, which reduces the layers of skin cells. This prevents pimples from forming and replaces the skin cells in existing pimples in patients with acne, and also reduces wrinkles and brown spots in skin that has been sun damaged.
