M22 IPL and Nd:YAG Cleveland
The natural consequences of aging on our skin include sun damage, freckles, age spots, acne scarring, enlarged pores, and redness caused by broken capillaries and rosacea. Photorejuvenation reduces these signs of aging using non-invasive pulses of light to produce clear, vibrant-looking skin that you can be proud of. It works by using non-invasive pulses of light to even out pigmentation, reduce redness and stimulate collagen growth for an overall fuller and younger-looking appearance.
The M22 IPL module with Optimal Pulse Technology (OPT™) uses a single hand piece with changeable filters and lightguides for IPL skin treatments using photo rejuvenation. Three SapphireCool lightguides, for large and small area, maximize patient comfort with continuous contact cooling. It enables the physicians to treat a vast variety of patients and conditions with excellent outcomes.
Patients may experience mild discomfort during the procedure, similar to the feeling of a rubber band being snapped against the skin.
The Nd: YAG module with Multiple Sequential Pulsing (MSP™) offers treatments for telangiectasias, hemagiomas, leg veins and facial wrinkles. A precise and comfortable treatment with 4-cooled and easily changed lightguides.
Multiple Sequential Pulsing, which is available in both the Nd: YAG and IPL modules, enables cooling between a sequence of pulses, to protect the epidermis while allowing safe use of high fluences. This enables treatment of all skin types, including darker skin, and reduces the chance of unwanted side effect in vascular lesion treatments.
There is typically no recovery time and low risk of complications. However, patients will need to protect their skin from the sun after treatment, as it will be more sensitive than normal.
Patients often look as though they have a sunburn for several hours after treatment. Although rare, there is a risk of mild swelling, blistering, infection and scarring after this treatment.
This technology gives users the ability to control the treatment and provide reproducible results as well as a gentler, more comfortable, patient-friendly treatment.
